How to create a user ID:

1. Click the Create ID button and enter your phone number.
2. When you press the Start button, you will receive a code by text message, which you can enter to continue creating the ID.
3. In the next view, fill in the rest of your contact information carefully and press Continue.
4. After the contact information, fill in your company or organization details. In particular, company and unit information is important at this stage of creating the ID; if you are not sure about the cost center, you can leave that field blank. By pressing the Continue button, the app opens and you can start ordering interpretations.

Working with an interpreter is specifically cooperation to achieve a common goal. All our interpreters follow the professional code of conduct for community interpreters of the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters. You can influence the high quality of interpretation by, for example:

• • keeping speeches short
• • booking enough time for the interpretation
• • stating the subject of the interpretation as accurately as possible when ordering the interpreter

Choosing the most suitable form of interpretation depends on the subject of the interpretation, the person being interpreted, the nature of the meeting, and the expected duration. Most interpretations ordered are remote interpretations, but sometimes the situation requires an interpreter on-site.

Instant interpretation Instant interpretation is suitable for situations involving short or unexpected interaction. With an instant interpreter, you can get connected to an interpreter in less than a minute and you only pay for the time used for the interpretation.

Remote interpretation by appointment Appointment interpretation is the most common form of interpretation ordered and is suitable for most interpretation situations. You can book an interpreter according to your calendar for the duration of the entire meeting.

On-site interpretation On-site interpretation is an important form of interpretation, especially in situations where several people are present in the interpretation situation, the person being interpreted is an elderly person or a young child, or the matter being interpreted is difficult to explain over the phone.

At Youpret, there are no fixed or user-specific costs for interpretation services. You only pay for the interpretations ordered. The price of interpretation services depends on the form of interpretation and what kind of agreement the company or organization has with Youpret.

In longer interpretations, it is more cost-effective to order an interpreter by appointment in advance, while in quick and short matters, it is cheaper to order an instant interpreter.

Interpretations are billed to the organization as a collective invoice once a month via electronic billing. You can see all the interpretations you have ordered while logged into the Youpret system.

You can cancel the interpretation from the Youpret system (browser version or app) in the Upcoming Appointments section. Open the interpretation you want to cancel and select 'Cancel booking' from the bottom.
